In 2003 the poultry plant started its operations in village Etseri, Terjola region. To restore the enterprise, "Kazbegi" invested 450 000 USD.

With the purpose of creating an integral economic complex, the company leased 45 hectares of land in Abasha region, where they grow maize as poultry feed. The broiler chickens in Imereti are fed with Georgian wheat and maize, that makes "Terjola-Kazbegi"  products special in terms of taste and quality.
